The Ben Incident Back to Goofy Stuff / Back Home
This is a Pittsburgh thing.
Pittsburgh's Super Bowl winning QB Ben Roethlisberger drove his world's-fastest production motorcycle into the side of a car at about less than 35 mph. A lady turned left in front of him. Ben broke his face. The lady hates it happened. The lady is getting threat calls after her name was released to the public somehow. The lady was charged with failing to yield to oncoming traffic. Ben was riding without a helmet, and without a motorcycle operator's license. It's okay in PA to ride w/o a helmet if you have had a valid motorcycle operator's license for at least 2 years. Ben was charged for not having on a helmet (due to the no-license thing).
7 hours of surgery later, Ben's face bones and stuff were patched back together (his face broke a face-sized oval in the car's windshield). He broke his nose and lost two teeth, among other injuries about the face and mouth.
