Free Lunch Goofy Stuff / Back Home
Thanks to Shirley for sending this one! She sent it, knowing it was just another internet scam set off by some dumb bored teenager somewhere. And she laughed about it when she sent it. You've probably all seen this one in your own inbox. My comments are at the bottom of this page...

Hey guys,
It really works, I tried it and got my Gift certificate confirmation
number in 3 minutes.
My experience with it (none), my answer to Shirley:
"What a great offer! I punched in some
names but in my haste I only sent it to 8 people. So I didn't get the
certificate in 3 minutes as claimed. So I thought of two more people and sent it to all 10, just to be sure.
Sure enough, in 3 minutes, the first 8 people were really pissed off that I had sent it
again."
Shirley made a very good point in her original email - how will anybody at Applebee's know that you've forwarded it to 9 people? It's a sublime internet attack subtitled "clog the system with emails." When you think about it, the imbecile that started it doesn't even get to see the results.
Let's do THIS: Send everybody on your list an email saying that if you click on a certain spot on a certain page on www.weeville.com you will win a million dollars. A hidden prize that has not yet been claimed. Please start sending those emails NOW.
