On Saturday, October 22, 2005, we played our first gig in public. It was a Mardi Gras -themed event in downtown Lancaster to benefit the Red Cross Katrina relief effort. Upwards of maybe ten people stood around at times and grooved to the blues in front of a condemned building. We had a ball, played all day until we were exhausted and our womenfolk thought we were stars. What a day!
